okay, got my laptop and all that. it's the Dell 1210M. Pretty nice little system.

I am major happy with everything except one minor thing. on the left hand side of the unit near the front there is a little slot that's covered at the front of the slot is a button. I am guessing this is where the harddrive is removed. well being a dumb ass I pushed the little release button to see what would happen.

and now that I got the little cover back in place I can't get the button to go back in like it was in the first place. the cover is staying in place and I figure I can live with it but it would be nice if that damn button would be nice and go back in there as it was!

Yes, I think this is where you could put an external card or usb adapter card as mine had the exact same thing. My button did the same thing. All you got to do is press the button again and it should go back in.

guess I am sol. the button won't stay or go back in, if I push the button the little slot cover thingy pops back out.
but it was in when I got it. shrug.

yes, take that thing out. depress the button firmly. It should click back in to place. then, slide the cover back in.
